light switch PRoblem!! help!

every know the light switch when you pull it halve way it turn on the park lamps and dashboard lights on right?
and full pull turns every light on and turn it left and right is dimmer

now since yesterday the parklights and dashlight doesnt want to come on at halve or full full. i have to pull it full and press it a little bit like playing with it so the lights can turn on i had a spare dash and i cheked the switch and it did the same thing.. what could be the problem here???

ive tried wd40 to clean the contacts but nothing im stumped

Could just be worn out switches on both that you've tested...

Switch is just worn out quite common problem.

Have you checked for power on the switch? I have no idea what color it is on the newer trucks, but on my truck it's a lt blue/red wire.

As it's been said, it's probably the light switch.

ok im gonna go by napa and test a new switch monday thanks
