So my buddies 86 F250 had an add a leaf in the front when he bought it. The tires were like this \ /.....So he bought skyjacker drop brackets for the TTB arms, and a set of BDS 4" lift springs, and a 4" drop pitman arm. There are 2 holes in TBB drop brackets. We used the top holes and the tires are still like \ /...So tonight we dropped to the lower hole in the bracket and the tires are now l l when going straight, but when he backs up the tires go like this / \ and when he turns the tires drag bad. Even goin foward its not right. We did not align it yet as it drove the same when it was like \ /. Will the alignment set everything right? What else might make it compress when he goes in reverse?

Toe in causes the loading of the suspension while backing up....

Since we had almost all of the TTB apart I dont see bad bushings being an issue since we checked all of them. There is only 2 bushings to go bad on a leaf spring truck. I think when the alignment was done when the wheels were like this \ /. When we made them like this l l, it is now pushing the wheels out causing the probs we are having.. We will see what the alignment does.

Newist update, we installed new upper and lower ball joints as well as the adjustable caster/camber bushings. Also new axle shaft u joints. Back to the alignment shop to get it all sorted out.
