leaky waterpump!!

see where the rust is? thats where its been leaking how can i fix it? rtv silicone??

Has it been leaking from the seal? or could it be dribbling down from the pressure release valve on the pump itself?

As long as it is from the seal and not the valve try RTV Black.

If it is coming from the valve you need a new pump before this one blows entirely

Get the old gasket off...220 grit to clean both surfaces(steel wool works), drain the Rad a bit to dry the pump in-outlets, and Blue RTV on the pump cover after checking both surfaces with a "true" straight edge, for warp.
Circle the bolt holes, don't crank it down hard. Just enough for a little squish out the sides.
Let it cure per instructions.
Fill the rad, start, let temp come up gradually, and you should be good.
I've done this many times and been good to go.

becuase the MOFO started leaking again!!!!!!

i used RED RTV what i had already whats the difference between the black and the blue RTV??
