In my own world
should not hiss at all, might be a bit of dirt in the valve, blow it out with one of those air cans for the keyboard, and try it again

Its not sealing as good, if you press and the hiss is stopping then you need to find a way to make it seal better, or get a new block that isnt lose. HCs can be high from timing too.

Yeah I think I need to replace the little silicon block that all of the vac lines attach to but what the hell is the name of that part and where can I find one? This is what the plastic valve looks like:

I need the little silicon block that attaches to the back of it.

I had the same thought and asked him how my timing looked. He said 11* so I'm good there.

Yes I know stock timing is 10 but 11 ain't gonna hurt anything. Could push it as high as 13 or 14 before I start to ping.

So nobody knows what that little silicon block with the 5 holes is called? Straps to the back of that plastic piece pictured above?

I would call it the silicone thing, you will probably have to look at a diagram at a parts tore or something to get a reference,
maybe climate control vac plug....

shot in the dark there....
