the slave cyl is also new!!
(on the side note what does a slave cyl does when it goes bad?)

im sooo tired of this i have a C6 lying around im gonna rebuild it and put it in the truck!!

Get a dent. no hydrolics

Agreed

Only problem I see with swapping in the C6 Jurg is...is it a small block C6? If not, you need to find the right bell housing.

My bet is that you've still got air in the master.

I can't remember if those trucks are set up quite as stupid as the Ranger, but I know on my truck you can bleed it forever and it won't get all the air out.

I ended up effectively bench-bleeding it with it installed in the truck, which worked but was a huge PITA. Basically take the MC apart until you can pull the piston far enough out for fluid to escape (repeatedly) then bleed the system normally.

*Disclaimer- I'm a Ranger guy. I only know a little tiny bit about the full-size trucks. This *may* not apply.

Jerg, they are the worse to bleed out. Took me longer on an 92 F350 with a ZF then I did to do the job. You have to get the front really high, or take the slave off and point it up, thats what the procedure tells you to do.

im gonna try a trick an old guy tought me today.. he said insert a hose thru the bleeder.. open bleeder and open master cyl cap up there.. and then push with a pump brake fluid thru the bleeder at the trans to the master up top.. seems like a good idea where gonna try it!

the slave is in the trans :(

Oh, thats for the external 1, if possible get a reverse bleeder, it pushis the air to the top, where the air wants to go to begin with.

Actuallly, not redneck at all. The "reverse fluid" injection bleeding technique has been around for quite a long time. Some ABS systems must be reverse fluid bled to service properly. Phoenix Systems probably make the best injection/vacuum tool on the market.

Also you may want to bench bleed you maste cylinder if it did not come pre-bled.
