Intermittent brake warning lights

Both the red parking brake light and the rear ABS lights started coming on intermittently yesterday, staying on for only a few seconds. Today it seems to be happening more frequently. There is no noticeable change, also the parking brake light comes on first. Any ideas?

Make sure your parking brake is not set a little bit for the brake light.
ABS light is seperate, you have 2 issues

ABS usually is deactivated when you set the parking brake... Could be one simple issue if you're lucky.

According to my further research it is not.

Looks like I have a slow leak out of my master cylinder, which was replaced right before I bought it. Hmm.

You can see the corrosion left by the leak.

Put some brake fluid in and drove around for a few minutes, light didn't come on.
