yeah, those glowplug harnesses are bad for slobbering. Buy a harness, then try to remove it. It WILL break.

that be the plan.. also plan to change the glow plugs whether she needs it or not... was told the upper valve cover gaskets are reusable so might pull the one on the driver side just to see if the ding bat tech that changed it got it installed right too...

btdt... not coming from there...

took the pics for vince awhile back...

i had the valve cover gaskets done when i first got the truck... didnt seem to stop it... and when the ICP broke in 2.. the dealer pressure washed it... ive been in there with HD degreasers... brake parts cleaner... various other things ive used to clean engines before to find leaks... this one persists in the same spot... Im just hoping its the actual glow plug harness from the looks of the first pic there is what its looking to be.. and not the rocker box seal which sits right below it...

the intake itself the valley where the turbo and all that sits is as dry as i could get it without pulling everything off the top of the engine...

SO... driveshaft came out again today to fix the CV joint in the middle of the double cardian joint...

who needs a blind hole bearing puller... not me...

them tools worked just fine...

bad bad dust boot for that CV joint...

new ones in...

if someone ever tells you that you need to spend $39 on the tool just to install that boot.. tell them theyre wrong... Local auto parts store has it in stock in the exhaust pipe coupler section for $4

little grease to make things happy...

if you ever need hard to find Driveline parts for your axles or driveshafts give these guys a call... theyre CS staffs great.. real friendly and very helpful... Although their sending of the tracking number department kinda sucks.. First time i ordered from them i didnt get the number till 4 days AFTER it showed up at the house... 2nd order never did get the tracking number for...

i bought the boot for the slipjoint and the clamps the first time... the 2nd time was that bearing there... was going to order from them before (forget what for) the slip joint boot.. but at the time couldnt find people that had dealt with them before i ordered from somewhere else...
