Yes that's good. Nice work on the intake too..Im gonna put a High-Rev governor in my AOD (5,500 RPM's) so It'll shift higher when WOT...Is that a safe RPM for it to shift at?

The explorer will flow better than than the stock one,
That's not right, no other factory intake outflows the 5.0 truck intake, but that's part of the problem with this motor the intake is WAY too big and low rpm TQ is down as a result. The GT40/explorer intake is a much better match to the GT40 heads, but you'll need the complete intake.. upper and lower, the port layout is totally different from the truck intakes and the parts cannot be combined. Here are all three 5.0 lowers side by side, left to right you have the 5.0HO, 5.0 truck, and Explorer/GT40.
