Honk Honk!

Yea no honk honk for me. How do i go about diagnosing it? Could be the clock spring yes, but how do i make sure? Heres the problem, dont honk when i hit the switch(s), But Honks when i push the theft button on the key fob. Thanks

Sounds like it's probably the clock spring. Do you have an airbag?

yeah i would say either a bad clock spring or possibly a wiring problem.. but ost likely a bad clock spring

My buddy's 93 Bronco didn't have an airbag from the factory... The reason I asked is because the clockspring also deals with power to the airbag, and if it was going bad you might also have problems there (like an airbag light illuminating). But if you DON'T have an airbag, and your horn button is malfunctioning ONLY, I would suspect bad clockspring.

The clock spring is probably bad, will also affect your cruise too, airbag works of it's own ckt. If you look cruise and horn use the same ckts.

Thanks man, Im guessing your using alldata, if you are could you please copy the procedure to replacing it? If not its no big deal i can get it monday when i go to class. Yea i would be estatic if my cruise didnt work because of that, but im pretty sure my horn worked before, and i still didnt have cruise. But hell its worth a shot. My airbag light comes on when i first start the truck, and like 2 seconds later it shuts off. Only my ABS light stays on, im gonna run some codes for that. Chris, your buddys bronco had that big ugly steering wheel, my steering wheel is just like yours, which i LOVE! LOL beleive it or not that helped me deside to buy a truck like that. I love the looks of it and how comfortable it is. But im weird!
