Morning y'all:
I'm Jim from the York Pa. area.
I have a '66 F250 4x4 dually I'm going to redo for a user truck. It has a 390,4 speed. I need to run the numbers on the block, heads ect. to figure out what it is. I have several Ford Flatheads,'49 Tudor Sedan,'51 Ford Vicky, which over the years I have sort of figured out,as with the '53 Chevy Truck & Chevy numbers. Now I'll start on the '66. I'm now taking apart & sandblasting the brake, front parts.
Thanks for a site for the needed information. I bought the three volume shop manual. Seems the shop library is getting bigger than the tool crib??
I'll post in the 390 forum for the cast no. locations.
Thanks again.
