good afternoon-
i am very glad to be on board. i have always believed that a person is born-he dies-and in between he works on trucks.
i've been a ford truck man all my life. i drove my dad's 51 f-1 in high school and i bought my 71 f100 brand new just out of college. 250,000 miles and 43 years later it is in the last stages of a frame off restoration. it is a 2wd, 4 speed, 360 cubic inch, wimbledon white, short bed truck with mallard green interior.
i joined the forum because i will need expert advice in following areas:
a. i want to hang a good, sound ac unit on board. az heat and my woman insist i do this.
b. i would like to upgrade my front suspension. i am told a crown vic rack and pinion steering set-up will bolt up famously. i have no clue what that entails.
any and all advice on both topics will be greatly appreciated. i am glad i finally found a place that honors the blue oval! fv
