Headlights wont work?

Hey guys, just bought a 1993 f350 7.3l idi. The headlight dash lights wont come on. my running light work but thats it. Any ideas?

If i understand your problem, the parking lights work, but you have no Headlights or dash illumination. Is this correct?

My first thought is a bad headlight switch or bad fuse.

I think I'd start with the actual light switch. Thats the only place where they all have something in common.

Not trying to be funny, but have you tried turning the headlight knob? If so, then I stand by Vince on the switch, as the resistor wire that is supposed to control the brightness of the dash light or the contact to it have failed.
