Headers for a highboy

Am I mistaken in thinking that there is no difference in headers for a highboy or a 2wd?
The divorced transfer case would be completely out of the way.
The transmission would be the same as a 2wd.

So is there anything I missed?

The location of the frame cross member is completely different. Highboys have it out in front of the motor, with the steering linkage in front of the axle, while 2wd have it more centered under the motor with the steering linkage behind the cross member.

So most likely 2wd headers would work on a 4x4 but the reverse is less likely?

I know the rear of the frame is also narrower, thinking it is all the way along, as I don't recall the frame kicking out at all. I recall my headers actually went around the steering shaft, originally the one was two piece, but rust tends to make them solid...
