NPD is no better...and their stuff is a little more difficult for me to navigate so LMC does just fine for me...and it beats paying FMC's prices.....especially when they use alot of the same companies.

Then step up to the good parts suppliers at JBG or DC. $25-30k in parts from those two places with ZERO complaints...and their prices are rarely anymore expensive.

Sorry Ben...those are no namers to me.....DC seems a little familiar.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT...I'm in complete disbelief, no way you've never heard of them.

DC=Dennis Carpenter:
http://www.dennis-carpenter.com/

They use original Ford tooling and is a top resource for quality repop parts. These guys are a staple in the dentside restore world. They gave me a 10% discount when I restored Red due to the mass of parts I was ordering.

JBG=Jeff's Bronco Graveyard:

Usually my second choice because they have less selection than DC and DC is only 20 mins down the road. They're great guys with good prices, hell I've even talked on the customer service line before just shooting the breeze. One day they even walked me through a 79 Bronco to 350 brake upgrade.

Yeah I see that now...and I concur on your statement about LMC...but I still don't use them even if I can handle the part falling off in two days. So you probably do more business with JBG than DC huh? For the same reason I do most my business with DC.

DC doesn't offer parts for my vintage.

This is still the dentside forum right?:headbang: smilietease HAHAHA. But yeah, I know what you're saying...Thunder either gets the JBG, Summit, junkyards or Rowzer's (local) treatment.

I cant afford DC :(

They're no more expensive than LMC...hell last I checked LMC was approaching $600 for a 79 grille shell and DC was still around $500. Speaking of which, anyone know if DC is back in full production with grille shells? I called either Cindy or Sheila about 2 months ago to get the inside scoop, and they said they were still having stamping issues but some met the standards and they were fulfilling some backorders and they would be back in full swing in 2-3 months....holy run on sentence batman.

Well I guess I need to give DC look again, last I was dealing with them they were WAY more expensive the LMC...

Yeah...about 7-8 years ago they definitely were. I don't think DC has come down in price, more like LMC has jacked up the price of their chinese crap. That's actually one of the bargaining chips I used when I requested my discount, was LMC was a ton cheaper, and I didn't want to throw thousands of dollars to them, but I would if DC couldn't come down in price.

Still Da Man
Would you guys pay more if the kit had Bosch Relay (s) instead of the NON-Bosch relays these other kits have ?

Bill is thinking of using only ONE relay instead of 2.

Anyone know why everyone else is using 2 relays instead of looping the power from one ?

I will be running 80/100 watt H4's which is what I am running now and I DON'T have headlight switch (flickering lights) problems

Sure I don't mind paying for a good product Dennis.
But when I said reasonably priced, I meant 50 or so bucks but if it gets in the 100+ dollar mark I cant really afford it..
And would end up going with the LMC kit..
