GM HEI on 360

Seeing an e-bay ad for a GM style HEI distributer single wire replacement for a fe 360.

Anybody have one tried one?


Sounds too good to be real for $70.

They work great
One wire, 12 volt, no resistor wire.
if you want a tach, just plug it in on the other side

They are a wider and taller cap, so keep in mind they take up some room up front there.

I have s GM style HEI distributor on my 78 F-150 Ranger Lariat Trailer Special with a 400 in it, and I think that it's great, albeit that I had a few problems with it in the beginning, and I had replaced the pickup wheel on it and I love it. Of course mine came with the distributor, and it's a good reliable system.

Just ordered one on eBay. $80 to my door. Will report back after install. Current auto light with module will intermittly pull like 2.5 amps when off??

Shouldn't pull anything when off.

I've got 2, love them both. You will have to buy a much smaller air cleaner assy.
