Gear indicator cable P/N ?

Hi guys i've finally had enough of the gear indicator not being in the right place (even though i've tried to bodgee it up) and am looking for a replacement cable ...... looked around but cant find one except on ebay but i'm not sure that its right - here is a link http://www.ebay.com/itm/25104791293...38&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT&vxp=mtr

1987 Cliff with the 5.0 aod

If I had one, I would let you have it, but every truck I have for parts is a manual... Sold the dash that did have one.

Mine is a 85 and I pulled a replacement out of 82-83 F150. Best way to tell is take it apart to check. It looks just like mine so i would think it fit.

If the 87 is the same as the 80-86, I may just be able to help after all.

Not sure if it's the same as the 87 Roger or Cliff as i haven't got an 80-86 near my location to go have a look at and i can't get the pics on ebay to blow up clearly enough to properly see if it's the same as mine .... thankyou very much for your kind offers to help though guys.
