Gas Line identification '89 model

I'm struggling to replace a reservoir valve (Two gas tanks) and need to know howq to re-connect the lines...like, which is the feed and which is the return line? I'm finishing this job after an abandoned attempt by a rogue mobile mechanic. It appears that two lines are grouped higher along the frame and there's a pair lower along the frame. Can someone tell me which is which?...need same answer for the pair of lines exiting towards the motor. Thanks.

The sizes are different, so that helps. The larger lines are feed, the smaller are return. The two that are by themselves on one side go to the motor, the pair on the other side from it are the inlet. It should be fairly apparent when mounted to the frame on this. As to which is front and which is rear, I would have to go crawl under my truck to get a look... However, I have ditched my valve and bypassed it. If you have the factory lines yet, they will naturally go to their hookups for the most part.

The hoses are arranged such that one tank is horizontally associated, so the top (a guess) is the front, and the bottom pair is the rear.

I really appreciate you guys. I think I might have reversed the engine side lines...the tank-side lines seem correct...One of the engine side lines leaks and at first thought, I might have reversed them...but the truck runs/idles okay. I'm still checking. more to come.

If they were backwards, it likely wouldn't run. (Thanks fatherdoug for the link for the pics btw, I just brought them to the front...)

Thanks again for the replies. I managed to put the lines back and am up & running. Still, I probably need to have it looked at because the rear tank still produces a leak when turned on. I'm actually back to zero after dancing with a clever-mobile-mechanic. I got stung and still don't have an accurate diagnosis.
The first dripping I noticed seemed to be coming from the lines-in at the dual-function reservoir.
