ok so i found this guy who is selling parts very cheaply that are rust free off of a 93 f-150. everything is white. he is selling the front fenders at $100, the hood at 50 and so on....now i know its 2am right now and my mind isnt working up to speed but what would i need for a front generation conversion??? i know i need the hood, fenders, grille headlights lower grill trim, front bumper...anything else??? would i need a radiator support?

Looks like you'll about everything off the front of the donor!!!

It would be a real "Frankenford" if you did that!!!

I thought you were saving to go to Florida this Summer???

Doors don't have to be changed unless you want the newer style, but as far as fit, they do not have to be changed. That is more if you were doing a dash swap. I can't say yes or no to the rad support, but you could get it in one piece that way if you wanted, then the hood.

You need hood, fenders, cowl, core support, grill, lights, the piece below the grille.

haha yeah i know thats wha i was thinking about. nah florida is put on hold right now. i got a new job working for Loomis and Fargo as an armed gaurd in the vault. and working my way up to be an armed gaurd/driver with my friend who is already one. one of the main reasons i wanted to go to florida was to get a better job and plus a change of scenery.

im seriously debating this swap.....over the summer i just might collect parts slowely and when i have them all ill swap it over....i think it would be cool to do.smilieFordlogo

my only concern would be mounting crap on the fenders from different generations. How much trouble would it be? I have no idea. Maybe one of these guys with trucks in both generations can compare radiator overflows, solenoids, etc.

Glad you're finally seeing which is the superior body style :D

to be honest.....its actually cheaper and easier to get rust free white body parts and replace the front end then to paint the whole truck white again:rolling laugh: smilieFordlogo
