Ford Econoline Transmission.

Which one of you smart guys knows which transmission would come in a 1979 Ford Econoline 150 with a 351W. This was a camper van. C4 or C6?

Likely to be a C6, at least that was what came in the 2 I have had use of.

x2 on what Roger said Derek...my C-6 Came from a van..I had it converted over to a 4x4 unit..

It's gonna be a C6.

Looking in the 79 Ford Shop manual, it only lists the C6 for Econolines.
