Delay relay bypass

Hi all,
This is a safe way to bypass delay relay.
This relay is used to control the power to radio and windows. All it does is keep the power on until you open the door.
The problem I was having is after starting my truck the delay relay would break circuit every time I let off the gas pedal, my radio and power windows would stop working. After 15 to 20 seconds it would power back up. This is a simple safe way way to bypass this silly thing.

If it is the relay itself, simply replace it. However, it sounds more like a control issue. The body control module controls that relay, turning the connection on and off. If you bypass it, you will then likely just have power full time, and then need a cutoff switch. You most certainly can do that, simply put a jumper to the two heavy leads, then rig up your own switch you would have to remember to turn off every time, or another way would be to set up your own relay that is triggered by the key on circuit.

Being that it is related to the pedal, makes me wonder if there is something moving that is causing a connection problem. Relays don't typically just randomly turn on and off, they either mechanically or electrically fail completely.
