Pretty risque for the late 70's with the chick in the bikini. I can see someone's mom covering their sons eyes while the dad was like, heeeeeyyyyy!

Loved that flare side though.

And I would love for bell bottoms to come back into style!

Some things are better left in the past. But you know what's old always becomes new again. I remember a few years back, 'vintage' clothes made a comeback...but they were called flared jeans instead of bell bottoms.

Flared pants are different than bell bottoms

Bell-bottoms have an extra wide leg bottom.

I know what bell bottoms are, and they look the same to me. I just figured a marketing department somewhere decided to appeal to a new and younger generation.

Yup...I remember when they came back...it was short lived.....:(

I like to get my hands on that model truck .

Mark, we must have been brother's in another life, cause I was thinking the exact same thing....I wanted that model when I first saw the commercial. Pretty funny!

I have been writing every plastic model and die-cast models maker since 1995 asking them to make certain models of Ford Pickups

In 2001,then again in 2005 on the "other site",I campaigned to get the Members to sign a petition and sending it off to all the model builders, with no reply.

I then contacted the Model company that had the 79 F-350 built. He needed 5000 Prepaid orders to have a Model in plastic created.

So that's where the world stands with model companies right now.

They build so many High-Priced Mustang/Shelby cars that people can only dream about owning, while Ignoring those people with the average Mustang or F-series light truck.

Maybe it's time for yet another LIST of Model collectors that would buy an all inclusive 73-79 F-100-F350 in a kit that allows a person to build the trim level,4x4 vs 4x2 Regular cab model?

and while we are talking models I saw and purchased the early 80's Bronco Monogram model kit that is untouched.

It's for sale for the right price

I always get a laugh out of the Pinto wagon with the round window
Ford called it the "Youth Van."

If y'all are looking for plastic model kits, there are 'model shows' where older kits can be purchased.

Have an older toy store in your area? Waltz in, ask if they have some old kits.

In 1982, I found dozens of late 1950's, early 1960 AMT kits in the basement of a defunct toy store in beautiful downtown Santa Paula CA.

If y'all are lookin' for something, go out and beat the bushes, cuz you cannot expect the goodies to come to you.

Guess why I was in Santa Paula? Hit up the Ford Dealer looking for obsolete parts. Came away with a pickup load of goodies for 200 bucks.

I'll sign it right now!

BTW, I did find a 77 F150 model that I have in possesion and want to make it look like my dent....took me forever to find it and cost me a boatload of cash on ebay. Everyone and their brother was in a bidding war with me.
