So I have a chance to pick up a clean titled LUV for under $100.

It's missing the engine but has the trans...

Now my buddy has a late '80s Olds 98 with a low mile 3.8 in it but no title.

Does the 3.8 and the LUV hold true to the Chevy engine swap-ability? Think it'd be a fun little DD with that EFI v6 under the hood...

Isuzu. The Courier was Mazda. You will have to fab everything, no way, shape, or form will it simply bolt in like the rest of the GM's. They are Jap all the way through. We did take one back in tech school an modded up an Olds diesel for the drag strip... but we fabbed everything but the sheetmetal on that thing.

Ahh, heck, nothing a torch and welder can't fix... Those 4 poppers took up plenty of room... If the Rangers can take a 302 easy, I would think the Luv would. I used to have to work on one, I can hardly fit in the silly things, too tall. I'm only 6' 1"....
