2008 F-super duty- 6.4 diesel-injector circuit open code(s) (p0201-p0208) with a misfire/rough running/lack of power condition. Some 2008 F-Super duty 6.4 vehicles with huntsville engine serial numbers 0425659 or lower or indianapolis s/n 7004400 or lower, may exhibit an injector circuit open dtc's, and a misfire/rough running/lack of power condition. This condition may be intermittent. Remove the rocker cover for the effected cylinder injector and check electrical connector to make certain the connectors locking tabs are fully seated.While rocker cover is removed, make certain all other injector connectors on that bank are fully seated. Remove onlythe rocker cover(s) for injectors indicated by dtcs. If the suspect connector is fully seated, continue with normal diagnostics.This condition has been corrected in production after these serial numbers.

Only out for a few weeks and already a "broadcast message".

All of a sudden, my owning a 6.0L doesn't seem so bad any more if this is any indication of the 6.4L roll-out????

Ford has corrected all future problems with the 6.4L PSD motor.... they just decided to get in a major pissing match with their only diesel motor supplier and got cut off!!!! See... no more 6.4L problems.... no motors... no problems!!!!

Boy, those Ford guys are sure smart.... why didn't I think of that one???
