I guys, saw my post at the top and checked in.
Good mechanic figured out why it was running bad, and he did know that it had an OBD system.
Autolite spark plugs, brand new...two had failed.
The really fearful thing...when he got in the truck, the brakes were gone. While I was driving to his location, the brakes were getting a bit iffy...by the time it parked and I got home, master cylinder had failed and there were no brakes.....Fun huh?
So, he's got it now, and per my boss and his own thoughts, they're not letting me drive it till it runs and is safe. Front end (will explain what parts later) is being replaced and I...*knocks on wood*...might have it by next weekend.
Up to $8.5K now....*sigh*
