As are mine Ken...I was more or less focusing on his mileage than actual age.

No doubt...for a while there, it seemed as if good ol' Murphy was a permanent fixture around me. And he always seems to be there when you're the brokest.

It isn't that hard of a job to get done over the weekend as long as the heads are not warped.

it has been bullet proof till now...

its nothing a weekend cant fix....

and ive already got something lined up.... along with the GT40 heads.....

Keep in mind you're on the down hill side of life expectancy with that truck and drivetrain, so expect it to not be that reliable until you touch just about every part of that drivetrain. Some gaskets and heads aren't going to zero out that odometer. And be ready for the tranny to be soon to follow.

^^^Oh...didn't realize that, well shoot, if you do a stock rebuild, you might get outta this for under $1500, less if you do it yourself. You just had your rear end done, and the tranny still has tons of life left...I'd say you're in real good shape then.

I keep spare vehicles in case one breaks down. I don't have the mechanical prowess you guys do to be able to fix one when it breaks. Not yet anyways.
