That's usually how it goes man. Sorry to hear it, but it's almost a 20 year old truck, with a couple hundred thousand miles on it, it's to be expected.

If it's any consolation Chris, that's kinda what happened with my 79. Before I parked it for winter the first year, I had to adjust the antifreeze concentration and as soon as I touched the rad, it started to leak..then come spring after it had sat all winter, rear main, valve cover, oil pan, rear end, transmission all started leaking. I feel your pain...it just sucks when it happens all at once, esp given that it is your daily driver.

Ive come to expect it now after the 76. If somethins been sittin a wjile and all of a sudden it gets driven ever day its gonna leak most likely the pinion seal then the transfer case etc etc.

It isn't that hard of a job to get done over the weekend as long as the heads are not warped.

I'm gonna loop back around to that $129/mo KIA lease special. You guys need to have at least one reliable, bulletproof, warrantied vehicle in the driveway. Serious.

Should be fine. Just get a complete gasket set and get to work :)
