91 F150 5.0 Swap 5.0 Ho 91 Stang

OK I GOT A 90 F150 AUTOMATIC 5.0 2 WHEEL DRIVE. I WANT TO TAKE my totaled mustang and put the motor, mass air meter, and possibly its aod tranny.i just want to know if theres a enexspensive (pretty much free i got a complete wrecked stang) and not to hard. im a pretty descent mechanic and alright at wiring. any help would be apreaciated. thanks a bunch sorry bought the spelling and grammer

Pretty much a bolt in swap. Only thing to look out for is the water pump rotation,t he HO's I know are reverse rotation, would have to look at my Windsor to see which way it spins... But you would likely be better off with the factory trans in the truck.

In the 4x2 the motor will be fine. Figuring out harness might take awhile.

i cant believe theres not more replies on this thread. today i drove my son home 100 miles each way and the truck died 15 miles from his house. i left it there came back later and it started. i think its a fuse relay

I have never swapped an engine, so I have no clue how to answer anything in this thread. Sorry.

Oh...welcome to the forum. I am sure someone will know more.

I would imagine the electrical wiring would be the biggest issue (or it would be for me).
