7.3 powerstroke oil leak

Have a 96' F250. Oil seems to run down the rear of the engine from the top. Is this turbo seals, oil line or something else
Any of the above. You need to get on top of it while its running to pinpoint it. The high pressure oil pump is up there too.

yea thats your oil seal. theres 2 O-rings you will see once you pull the turbo. and pulling that isnt to fun. 2-3 hour job.

Check thehigh pressure oil pump and lines first, then the large orange hoses off of the turbo, then move to the turbo or pedestal.

is there oil on the trans bell housing?

At the rear of the valley in the top of the engine, theres a hole on the passenger side that lets the valley drain. It will drain down the pass side of the trans mostly. Anything leaking up top will show on the right side primarily.

yea sounds like the turbo oil seals. dont ferget about getting a new exhaust gasket when you pull the turbo off its flange.
