Congratulations! Every marriage has it's ups and downs! The main thing is you just keep on keeping on. Even Lost and I have our moments. And he is my best friend!

Ann, my wife is a Mickey nut, she loves your avatar! Thanks all, and trust me Carl, I don't take anything for granted. I live by plan for tomorrow, but live for today.

Well then that explains everything then. Since she is a Mickey fan, then she has to be a great person! ;) Tell her thanks for me.

A late congrats.

My grandparents were married 67 years when they both finally passed away last year.

I'm prolly one of the last persons to give marriage advice seeing as how I got that whole divorce thing goin on but I will tell you what I observed from my grandparents.

I can NEVER remember and I mean NEVER remember one of them saying thank you to the other without a your welcome following it.

Grandpa never cooked and grandma never did yard work.

Grandpa opened the door for her EVERYTIME there was a door to be passed through.

Grandma NEVER had to carry a purse. grandpa put her glasses and ID in his pocket.

Grandma was in charge of the calendar and grandpa was in charge of the finances. He made sure they could get there and she made sure they did get there.

I was wondering about that post Ernie but I was gonna let it slide...The question is, do you remember what thread that was SUPPOSED to be posted in?

Hell no. :(

BTW, one of my fondest memories is following my folks with Barb in Mexico. They were holding hands, strolling down the street, and very obviously still smitten with each other. That trip was right after their 50th annniversary.

:)
