1988 F350 fuel problem

I have a 1988 F350. When I throw the fuel selector switch to the main tank the truck slowley runs out of gas with a full tank. It takes a couple of miles to do this. The fuel gage reads full but no fuel to the engine. Any ideas???

No power to the pump? Is your tank indeed full or are you just going by what the gauge says?
