i went for a drive today and ended up somewhere around the outskirts of Princeton ID and found a "junk yard" full of gold, about a dozen dents in various stages of wrecked. I saw at least 3 extended cabs and a bronco and half..

I got chased off when i pulled in to poke around and couldnt get a decent pic with my phone from the road. Gunna try to go back with a camera soon

Although if the owner ran me off for just pulling in i doubt he will be to enthusiastic about selling anything but its worth a shot who knows maybe a dana 44 in there for me

These are the types of people I just do not get. They would rather let things rot away to nothing rather than either fixing things up or selling some of their stuff to someone who will get some good out of it. In the end, the guy will die off and the rest of his family or the bank will have a crusher come in and get rid of the stuff.

Oh yes, I have looked at that site many times and I have almost forbidden myself to look again. You know, I never really cared much about old vehicles just sitting around until I bought my truck and started the restore. When things are hard to find, you come to appreciate things a bit more and now when I see things like that, it makes me sick.

well they all watch barrett jackson and thing their hunks of **** is worth big money so they tell themselves if they ever have to THEN they can sell it to save the house or the farm or get dick transplant or whatever

I run into BJS (barrett jackson syndrome) everytime i try to inquire about some rusted out musclecar these days..

Me: "How much would you let that road runner sinking in your yard go for?"
Dumbarse owner: "Well i figure around 12k"
Me: "It was a 383/727 car and both are missing..."
Dumbarse: "well yep its primed for a hemi swap"

I found some property in Oklahoma on a back road that had a bunch of old Mustangs with a lot of good parts and thought about stopping there, but something told me not to. I have some pictures somewhere from the road I think. I'll have to find them. Good thing I never stopped. At the same place they found some bodies in the trunk of one of the cars.

Havnt you posted those pics and that story before?? it sounds familiar but i could be mistaken.. either way id love to see the pics (again?)

All Barret Jackson is are people with a crap load of money who have nothing better to do than to flaunt their stuff around and over pay out their A$$es on vehicles that are not near worth what they are bought for. Granted there are some very very nice cars and trucks on there, but the prices are just sick.

i love a quality restoration just as much as the next guy but just because you put grease marks in the authentic location as the guys on the assembly line doesnt mean its worth a million bucks more

I checked other computer and couldn't find them. They might be on the computer that the power supply went bad on. I'll have to try and get them some time.

I'll try to find out more. My fiancee told me the police found body in trunk of car and said it was where I found the Mustangs. I'll ask her when I talk to her if she can find the article or how she found out.

Yeah, that's insane.....pics are horrible and it looks like it's only 2wd; a deal killer for me.

For the pics being so bad it looks like a decent truck......4k? He is out of his mind......I seriously doubt that that was a farm truck and isn't beat to hell. maybe parked in a barn or something but no way that was a working farm truck.
