It's been said alot of times, and I think even in this thread.Factory 5.8's should have a more rounded upper EFI plenum than the 5.0.Last I heard, the 5.0 and 5.8 upper plenums weren't interchangeable, but I could be wrong.

Here's the engine:

that looks like its in great shape...one thing you should look for in older low mileage vehicles..i think its already been said but repitition doesnt hurt....be careful there could be problems that have develoed from all its time sitting if it has that many miles for that year model...and like someone said...you dont know how many times the odometer has rolled over

No that's a 5.0 with the squared off intake runners and it has the AOD by the shift indicator that is missing the 2 between D and 1. That looks like the emissions sticker on the airbox cover, it would have the engine displacement on it.

Here a 5.8 upper.. you can clearly see how rounded the runners are.

Here is the underside of both upper intakes.. 5.0 on the left, 5.8 on the right.

Beautiful truck, same color as my dad's first Ford he bought for the landscaping business, learned to drive in that and his '95. Did you buy it yet?

One thing to look for is check out the brake pedal - how worn down is the cover on it? Has it been doing stop and go driving, or been driven so much that it's worn down, or is it never touched (high way driving). Old car guy taught me that one, thought it was interesting. Also is the driver seat worn? how many times has the driver been getting in and out? Little things like that can tell you a lot about the vehicle.

I need to check the brake, but the seat is not worn.

the reported story from the seller is that it was his dads (He bought it when he retired) and that they wintered in Florida and the car did not travel with them, that's why there's no rust on it. He also says that his mom's grocery getter and drove it up until a few months ago when she decided to buy a Fusion because the Bronco was not practical.

I'm not the biggest Gen. 8 front clip fan but, on a Bronco it looks dynamite. In my opinion better than a Gen. 9 Bronco.
