Wife and I were taking a walk with the little guy and I walked by this guy with this rig and we stopped and chatted for a while about his truck and mine and it turns out that he also purchased his dent on ebay in the same town I did almost 2 years later.

So, two dents from Spokane, WA were purchased by two fellas from Farmington, ME.

What are the odds of that happening.

This brown dent was a 75, standard, 2WD.

This guy said, he believed the 73-79 F-series pick ups were the best trucks ever made, regardless of make. He said he also has a 66 F100 and his first truck he ever bought brand new off the lot was a 1971 Bump! smilieFordlogo

YelloThumbUp YelloThumbUp That's pretty neat, Ken.

I've seen quite a few nice fords in that area show up on Ebay and other places.

I've seen some nice ones on the road driving through that area also.

We will Rise Again
Love the working pics. I can't wait to get my 75 supercab in order and ready for pulling my camper next year. At least that's the plan. My expedition is going down the road to my brother so the 75 is taking it's place. My wife doesn't like the 75 too much, but she will have to learn to like it. At least she can get into it without complaining that it sits too high. Hopefully I'll have some pics of the 75 taking the camper to storage this year.

Here`s a guy I saw and talked to last year.

Notice the Big truck that hauls the garbage away from work sites as well,

He said he gets stopped working all the time by people that admire the trucks

I used to work with mine every day... now it's in storage as I'm not really in the business anymore... 1974 F250 SuperCab with a Knaphide utility bed... I also have the 3.07 gears, and the 390 never complained... I did switch from 265/75/16 to 245/75/16 tires though at the reccomendation of my transmission builder to keep some strain off the C6. the shorter by 2" tires gives me about a 3.28 effective ratio, which is noticeable...

By the way, in your original picture your rig is sagging a little bit... mine used to do that with a trailer on until i got a load distributing hitch... improved the handling and ride too. I'll never pull a heavy trailer without it now. Just thought I'd throw that in.

These pics are from last summer, the pic in town is my 27', the pic at the lake is a relatives 30' with slide. When I went to go get the 30' it was grouse season so my dad came along for a ride to get a hunt in. And being the wood miser he is we came across some birch ends in a clear cut, so we loaded my box level with wood.
