We will Rise Again
Anyone have a nice center steering wheel pad without cruise control? I'm keeping my stock steering wheel and don't need one with cruise. Either just black or with woodgrain doesn't matter. Thanks.

I think I have a really good black one.

Mine has a dent in it. I don't think the salt eats it really, but I wash my truck even in the cold weather to try and keep the salt to a minimum. I have not found any dentsides in the junkyards here. There might be a few in southern Jersey but haven't travelled down there to see.

Aluminum doesn't rust, but it does corrode. The aluminum wheels on my 2003 Ranger look like crap after just a few winters. And I keep the truck clean!

I'll never run aluminum rims on anything again--as long as they're still putting salt on the roads.

Call first? ;)

I got my grill shell off Craig's List and it came with a whole truck attached to
it minus the 360FE, radiator and the passenger side engine perch. ;) It came
with a pair for a dumb-ol' 460 tho. ;)

$500

I really like the kid (whore-hey) I got it from, he even delivered it on a dolly.

Mine has a dent in it.

So does my "new" one, but at least it ain't got a low yield point like my after
market one does. (bend it just a little bit and it stays where you let go)

I know for a fact that there are quite a few dentsides in the salvage yards in upstate New York.
If you get a chance to go there, you might want to check out a place I use to frequent on a regular basis.
It's in Auburn, NY and it's called Auburn Pick 'n' Pull.
More often than not, they'll have what you need.
It's been 8 years since I've lived there though, so I'm not sure what they've got there now.
Still, it would be worth checking out though.

Looking for radios? Ford dealers send radios out to a local auto radio shop be repaired under warranty. Go to your local dealer, find out where they send the radios.

Then go there...many radio shops have all sorts of radios in their back rooms.

Dealers use "floater" radios...what the he!! is a floater radio?

Dealers take new radios out of the box, install them in customers vehicles so they don't have to wait for their radio to come back from repair.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if 1000's of these floater radios were stashed in dealers back rooms and attics this very day.

It doesn't cost a cent to ask. And most all of the floaters were repaired at some point, so it's plug and play.

Dennis...forgive my ignorance, but you specified that fan shroud for a 460, so it won't work for my Bronco (351M) with an extra cooling radiator? If it will lemme know how much and you can add that to my list.

It might I put a 460 shroud on my 390 when I put the super cooler in there. I had to put a shorter spacer for the fan that goes i n between the puley and fan, I also went and put a fan clutch on and the fan.

Yeah...I didn't really think it would be too much of a difference, I just didn't know if a 460 fan had different dimensions than a 351M...or if the shroud came of a super cooler and the mounting holes were in different locations.
