This should give you an idea of the time frame...

 Nice. Looks like the license plate says either "91" or "81". It does look like a digital picture, though, so I'm guessing "91"?

Extra points for black, too.

^^^missing the light and wiper knobs.....surface rust underneath, but pretty clean if it was used as a dd.

Is that the right bumper? Doesn't look right....but not sure.

Not sure why they didn't clean and paint the hood hinges when they were having the vehicle painted.

No stereo.

Dome light cover is missing.

Paint looks like doo doo.

That rear bumper is the correct 'non' rear step bumper option.... Back then rear bumpers were optional. You could get the factory rear bumper you see on this truck or a dealer supplied rear step bumper. Because there was a profit margin in it for the dealer, a lot of these era trucks that were not customer ordered 'sold units' were ordered in with no rear bumper. That's why rear step bumpers vary in style and manufacture in the trucks you see.

Ford changed to all rear step bumpers for sure on the gen 8 trucks but maybe sometime during the gen 7 era....

The whole light switch knob/shaft will have to be replaced, I believe. You can buy chrome replacements from Dennis Carpenter, et al.

Looks like somebody tried to remove the gauge surround without pulling the shaft from the switch.

Looks like quite a bit of overspray on the sticker on the door jam. Hopefully, the VIN tag on the door isn't as bad.(Doesn't show a picture of that).

For a daily driver it doesn't look too bad, other than Austin's comment about the paint.

The tail gate looks like its a little high, maybe just out of adjustment.
Seems to be an excess of screws coming through the floor on the passenger side.
Austins right, the paint looks dull.
It might have 2 different style side view mirrors, can't say for sure.
Hate the wheels.
Whys there a rubber hose going down the hot air intake tube ?
Something around/above the speedometer looks warped
shoulder strap missing on passenger side
Engine and compartment look clean, it might have extra pollution equipment being a Ca. truck.
Sliding window is missing something.
Headlight bezels been painted and possibly the grill
license plate lights are missing
is that a hole in the passenger side speaker grill ?
Cowl at the base of the steering column is crooked, possibly cracked
Pins in visors missing
