So it Begins F350 Camper Special Rebuild

jssec that is a realy nice build great project! I am the works for putting duel wheels on my 79. I finaly found 7 old style rims in the 16" size and they bolt right up with only 2" or so sticking out of the fender so I am "building" a small mini fender using the stock aluminum wheel arch moulding as a template. 1 ? please what size of tire and weight rating are you using to fit that 10" rear rim? and what was your cost?

thanks for the info I did not know that the "e" weight rating as my stock 265s are all "d" rated so upon looking at the tireracks list and specs I think I found my solution go with 285 75 16d = 3750lbs@80psi that should fix my problem with weight on my supercab with the 12ft camper thank you for the link!!

Still trying to get my head around this. Went to pick up some paint to paint my CS wanting to make it the same color as my 08 F350. One gallon of base coat alone was $698.00 not including the needed clear coat and activator which would also be needed pushing total up around $1100. Farmall IH red from tractor supply for $30.00 a gallon is looking good.

Installed the new door panels I got from Parts Train they are ok not an exact factory item. Came with arm rest already attached and clips. It does not use the factory door pull cup. https://www.dropbox.com/s/fn0405bygva0ffa/2014-04-12%2019.42.19.jpg

Picked up a sliding rear window from the old guys truck yard down the road for $40.00 it has an aluminum latch not the plastic one as usual. Had my pick of about a dozen windows was a job to get it in used the rubber form my old window.
