I know I shouldn't be towing that big of 4wd tractor on it, but it is all I have at the moment, just wondering how soon I will start breaking the truck down.
Hey fellas, I have a 1/2 ton 4wd, and tow a 17 ft. car trailer with it quite frequently, question, is there things I can do to the F150 to make it as heavy duty as a 3/4 ton, or should I just look for a 3/4 ton rolling chassis to swap to.
Just wondering what your dentside is to everyone here? Mine is a 1979 F150 4x4 with a 400 4 speed, I drive it everyday to and from work, in the winter I definitely need a 4wd to travel the roads I live on, plus, I am a service manager, so when a vehicle comes in that needs to much work, and...
Hey fellas, I have been around here for a while, just joined a few months ago, but I love this place, is there anyone else on here from Ohio, or West Virginia along the Ohio River?
Bellhousing will fit either 351M, 400, or 460, clutch will probably interchange too, depending on what year of truck you are working on. Is it an 11" clutch, and is it mechanical or hydraulic?
Hey fellas, I have a 79, and I only have one speed on my wipers,I did ground the wiper switch but it didn't help, and they don't park, they stop wherever they are when you shut them off, how do I fix this? Thanks.
First off, even though I keep adjusting my arms up, after running a little while, they seem to to get out of time and start flopping over the weatherstripping below the windshield again, also I only have high on the wipers, not the slow speed at all.Hope someone can help.
Ok fellas, what is your cam, and timing chain set choices. I want to build a 300hp engine, or a little better, but still drive it everyday, and also, where to gt a good deal on the parts I need. Thanks guys
Ok, big question here? What to do? I have a F150 with a 400 in it, and I am trying to figure out whether I want to build the 400, or get a different bellhousing and engine.I would like more power, but would also like as good of gas mileage as possible, (I know , dream on right) but in stock form...
I think I have a coil pack for a 94 -2000 Ranger with a 4.0, maybe fit more, I will check to make sure that I still have it, but someone can have it, just pay shipping
Hey you'll I am looking at getting a low boy, I have a F150 , do you think my truck would have many problems pulling a low boy, with a full size truck on it, I know a 3/4 ton would be ideal for this, but could I do it regularly without problems?
There must be some alternative to be able to get mileage out of one of these, how about installing a holley throttle body with a msd ignition, whatdya think?
Maybe this is a mute point, but I am going to try anyhow, I have a 79 F150 4wd, with a 400 4 speed, and am getting 9 mgp out of it, is this normal, or is there any tips or tricks to better gas mileage, and if I am stuck with 9 mpg, I might put in a 460 to have more power, I figure, it would...
