I know what you mean Ben !! After rebuilding the front end in mine and doing the steering conversion. New complete rear brakes, shocks all around and a tune up, I LOVE driving my ol' girl everyday !!! And yes , she is drafty too !!!

If a 60/40 split bench out of a 97 F150 will fit heigth wise in my 77 F250? I know that it's not a deal where I can just switch tracks. But was wondering if it will fit and not make the driver sit too close to the steering wheel.

Thanx. I looked but didn't see them. I saw the conversion kit for the transfer case and the lockouts. But didn't see any full time hubs.

Ok...we may have been through this once before. Can't remember. But. If this is true about the truck not moving if I put lockouts on it, Why will it move if I take the front drive shaft out?

I wouldn't worry about it or change them if I could find another full time hub. But am betting they are prolly next to impossible to find.

My 77 Highboy is full time 4x4. On one of the front hubs the splines are worn pretty bad. My question is can I just replace them with locking hubs and if so is it a straight swap if I get the external hubs?

Ben...I put a dome light with map lights out of a Lincoln in my 79 Bronc when I had it...Can't remember anything about it now excet it was a really easy install...So have to go with it has something to do with the door switches...Can't remember any trick wiring...LOL

Usually when oil pressure drops off after an engine is warmed it is due to cam bearrings being worn...
