Wiring Mess

I was wondering if anyone else has this mess of wires under their hood. I want to clean it up a bit.

Yeah...I know. I don't want to disconnect something I actually need. Yes, those are fuses on the federwell.

Were there additional lights put on? You have a bunch of added on stuff. I would start tracing down where they go to and start pulling.

If you want to find out I would start tracing each wire, and start cutting or replacing, god only knows what people do to these trucks..

Wow my 76 wasnt even that bad.

Just put that power bar in a plastic or watertight case.

Just like we do with the headlight wiring upgrade

To me that isn't what you think it is.

I have seen wiring under a hood that lokk like Hay was sread around under there,

I gave it the once over. I removed all of the crap. There was only one wire that actually went anyplace. I yanked it loose. My lights all still work. The truck still runs. Beats me what they were for.

I would just double check the gauges and radio too, if you haven't already.

Oh the only gauge that worked was the temp. It still does as does the radio.
