Well as title said winter did wha??/

Well the truck passed inspection smiliegitrdone

I gave the 94 a good wash . to see what damage was done during the salt season. Still have 2 days getting salt slime off.

The head light bezels really got trashed . Course now they match the grill. And I cleaned light 2x all ready and r discolored again.

door handles no chrome left

Rims not to bad just little corrosion.

Have 2 spots to get touched up . Above rear wheel well and drivers cab corner . Both were fixed because I got hit in side last year.

Carpet is really bad now . Anyone got gray for sc /Bronco that would clean up?

Seats well the cloth is great but I redid foam 2 yrs ago and its gone again .And one mount bolt broke how I know not. On a high note I did score set seats and console that had been removed in 98 out of a 96 . IF the guy and I can get together to pick up .(1 Hour drive. )

The stainless cowboy bumper though looks good is all pitted up and center license mount is rusting little . I got it in 95 and its been on 4 trucks no shame.

Tires r going to be done at end summer but that is just normal up keep.

So for repairs . I have 1 after market new bezel and Know a guy with 2 oem ones . Should I go cheap on the grill bezel and look good for 3 years (About time body will probably need rebuilt or I'll hit deer )Had em before the lasted ok Or go oem . Used is hard to find nice.

Door handles refer to above .

Grill no matter what kind I'm tired of trashed grills. I had a oem ford one I put new on old truck and only lasted 4 years till chrome flaked . Really like billet ones. What kind you like?

Now for to do list .

I have yet to put the spoiler on . maybe I'll get pick on and do opinion pole on switch placement and if it looks ok on truck .

Install warn hubs Got em $60

Find set running boards in stainless to replace damaged on from accident .

water pump . Have it to .

So what do you have to do to your rides? I know everyone does not have winter but things go bad at times. smiliegitrdone

I've read way worse (one monster paragraph posts). The only thing I'm going to input on is the grill. If you're going to go the billet grill route I like the looks of the one with less bars as opposed to tons close togethor (if that makes sense).

Hmmm. Just a thought starter, but a rust-free (never seen salt) Northwest example of that truck has an average asking price of $7391 with under 100,000 miles on it.

LINKY

With over 100,000, it drops to $5575.

LINKY

Longer time, I think I'd be saving my pennies and go that route.

This truck was a rust free truck 2 years ago . $1200 bad motor . Even with thick coat of oil sprayed under it it only took 2 years for rust to start . No biggie. Rust prevention is just the norm here.
