windshield wiper switch

I know that this is for ford vehicles but i am having some trouble with my 1992 toyota paseo, and i can not find the answer anywhere else on the internet so if anyone can please help! The windshield wiper switch is loose and every time i hit a bump the windshield wipers will come on. Is there any way to tighten up the switch to where this will not happen?

I'm going to move this thread to the "general automotive" forum, since it's not about a Ford truck.

It's been many years since I was in a Toyota Paseo, but if I'm remembering right, the wiper switch is a stalk on the column? If I had to guess, I'd say you probably need to replace the whole switch assembly.
