good day every one almost got my s/c done body,interior,suspenstion front end ect the only thing that was left to do was the exaust the po had single 21/4 exaust with a 2" tailpipe and that 460 was just choked so the only thing left to do was get duels done with headers that i already bought last winter the best price i got was $500 in grand prairie if i installed the headers so up the we went
[me and a buddy] most shops wont even let you in their bays so i was banking on re and re the headers/manifolds in the parking lot but they let us do it in their bay with a pit![i want one!!] 11/2 hours later had it done the guys did their thing and did an awsome job started it up and i had a header leak no big deal i would fix it when i got home by the time we got 10 km out of gp it was rapping realy good the next day i went to tighten up the header bolts and 2 were stripped and broken #5 and #8 on the pass side doooh!! looks like some one tried to drill/retap the head at one time and use jb weld couldnt get at any thing so off come the intake and the head so here i sit waiting for gaskets untill tues as i had a spare set of heads [i always laugh at my wife she calls me a horder for parts but this is exactly why i keep spare parts on hand] i just got 2 days of work i did not bank on doooh!!
but for any one doing an exaust system in the grand prairie ab area i would recommend minit muffler as their 2 guys have 30 and 32 years in the buisness and it shows the work was great! they realy knew there stuff!
