First of all, haven't had this truck long. Why does Ford put a lock key on the spare? I've had pickups for 40 years and never had a spare stolen. Second, why would anyone in this world, ever remove the key from the truck? Morons. I had the sense to check the tire pressure in the spare after I got the truck. Started working on the truck, fixing things, and of course, got a flat when I was out somewhere, and the key is nowhere to be found. Luckily I threw a 12 volt pump behind the seat as I keep one in every vehicle, and was able to pump it up and get to a tire shop. Just changed out this bastage with a new one.
