Why can't we edit out old posts?

Hi guys,

I am not referring to the F-100 area that I mod.

Why can't we go back and edit any of our old posts everywhere?

After an hour or so we cannot. The only forum I have been on that was this way was Fire Truck Equipment.

For instance: The title of this thread did not go through my spell checker and looks stupid, but I can't edit it.

Maybe it is a vbulliten thing since they both use that software.

I dunno for sure though.

I am also a member at The Diesel Garage and I just checked and I can not edit my old posts over there either and they use vbulliten also

That might be why. I know nothing about the hosting software. Can't hurt to ask though. It might be something not turned on yet.
