Wheels

I have an 2003 f350 dually. The front and back wheels seem to match, yet they are stamped by Ford, front and back. Are they differant or can I exchange placement safely?

As far as I know they are interchangeable....if they weren't, carrying a spare would be a bit of a pain.

Are they maybe only chromed on one side or the other?

I don't know much about dually wheels, just throwing out a guess.

I'm going to move your thread to the Super Duty forum- might get more views there from people who know about the bigger trucks.

Sometimes only the outer dually is polished...and on top of that they get beat on the rears.
I had a 99 dually but never had the rims off.
I know on the 750 with the Accurides that they are all the same, but the inner portion of the dually is pitted and beat.
Also.....its a good idea to put a gasket between the dually rims to stop corrosion.

The wheels are all the same. The only diff is on the polished alumn ones. the Fronts are polished on the one side, the rears are polished on the other side.
