Wheel Conundrum

18SEP24

Ford Wheels!

I have a 1990 f350 2WD dually.

I want to run a single rear wheel for the winter.

I'm in need of a spare too. I need wheels. This should be a no brainer.

As best as I can tell by visual inspection, is that all six wheels are the same.

The wheels have a flat face and drilled lug holes.

The wheels appear to use hub centering and a roll pin for inner/outer alignment(?).

The lug fasteners are two piece, a nut and a washer.

I've been calling junk yards and searching the internet. Junk yards have no wheels for duallys!

All dealers use only some or all of the following criteria: Year, Model, Front or Rear.

One wheelmonger on ebay, advertises "... for 2007-2023... Outer rear only". Ebay Motors says it will fit 1990.
Who should I believe? The 2007-2023 is a CYA for returns.

Any clarification is most appreciated.

The later Superduty wheels I believe will not work on your truck, however the E350 wheels will. Also, dual trailer wheels will also work on yours. The only reason that front vs rear outside would matter is typically appearance. The wheels are otherwise all the same. Functionally they are equal.

Thanks for the helpful reply. Sorry I didn't get back sooner.

I live in a small town surrounded by ranches. I finally wised up and went to the local iconic garage that services anything and everything and received a gratis education on everything duallies, right down to valve stem extenders. The only parameter that I'm missing is the dish depth of the center support.

Thanks again.
