What's your favorite bodystyle of F-150

Travis it DOES sound complicated when you explain it, but I agree, the multiswitch in my truck is incredibly easy to replace.

Regardless, the floor switch IS pretty cool. If ya'll that don't have one, want one, it can be installed really easily. My brother did it in his 97 F250 in a matter of about an hour. The hardest part was cutting through the insulation under the carpet

Tough decision... most of the ford trucks are just too dam sexy!! I love the Gen 2 Lightnings and i love the flare sides..

I love my dads 03 F150 Fx4 Lariat SuperCrew (try to say that 10 times fast!) His is black with the 17in ford wheels and chrome ford running boards.. looks so nice.. rancho shocks.. fully loaded!

My friend has an "Arrest Me" red 2001 Lightning, sooooo nice.. i want to steal it sooo bad

My vote is for the 92-96 style, I have a 78 SC SB I am gonna part out , I still have a place in my heart for that truck , but this newer one is my new love.

I like the 80-96 bodystyles, all 3 of them (they got better over time).

I like the 67-72, and really really like the 09 F150, I think it looks great.

I liked the 05-07 (facelifted) Superduties, but I am not a big fan of the 2008-

No offense anyone, but Ford hasn't built a half-ton I really like for a decade now...

O so true .... And I know several dear who would agree. They got 97 down trucks for $5000 and they sell. And the newer truck sit for about same price.

I think the exterior styling on the '92-'96 is a bit nicer than the '87-'91s. I drove an '89 a couple hundred miles over Thanksgiving, though, and decided I prefer the interiors in them. Dimmer on the floor, wipers on the dash, everything but the power window switches (I prefer cranks anyway).

For me, it's got to be the '73-'79 body style in general.
I was brought up workin' on them, and really like the overall layout of the truck.

If I ever purchase another truck, it'll have 5 requirements:

1.) Ninth Generation F-150 XLT (92-96)
2.) Blue
3.) 4x4
4.) 351W
5.) 5 Spd. Manual Tranny

You'll haveno problem till the manual part . Its a rarity with the 351 for some reason.

I voted for the 87-96... Ive put both of mine through alot and they are still going strong. I wouldnt trade them for nothing!

That black truck was 100 percent like our old one. Ours was a 1997 with the 4.6 (5.4 wasnt out yet) But we LOVED that truck.

My favorite style hands down is the 92-96 F series. You cant beat how tough these trucks look with some nice tires. Second would be the 67-79. Ford really didnt make a truck i never liked.
