Get the econo car . I know of 4 guys that had rangers . Even the 2x4 with a manual didn't get above 22 MPG (I had a 92 4cyl 5spd 2x4 that got 24-25MPG). So they went back to Full sized with room and 15-17 MPG .

If its economy get a car.And Keep the truck for hauling its not going to be worth anything once gas gets above $4 and stays there.

I like the idea of getting a small car to drive everyday to and fro, just keep the truck , gas prices will fall again by the end of the year.
