Hahahahhaha you're about to receive an a$$ whooping Mike, lol!!! There's a lot of guys on this site that hate that company with a passion. Most people refer to it as 'Scamsoil'. If I were you, I'd stay far away from their products. If you want to run synthetic oil I'd run Mobil 1 Synthetic 10w30. What have you been running before this, synthetic or dino?

My opinion.......whatever you start with, stay with. Trouble comes when you switch around.

I agree with Vince, that's why I asked what you were using before... If this is a high mileage motor that has been running dino oil all it's life, STICK with dino oil. You open a can of worms when you switch from conventional to synthetic on a high mileage engine. You'll most start finding leaks all over the place.

Oh and by the way... My personal experience with Amsoil products...

Once upon a time when I was young and naive --- I wanted to change my transmission fluid so I found the most expensive crap I could find --- Amsoil just about takes the cake. After running around the state trying to acquire a whopping 16 quarts of fluid and spending $150 for the fluid and probably another $50 in fuel, I got home and changed her out. Only a couple hundred miles later my transmission started making a funny grinding/whooshing noise. I thought for sure that my tranny was going out and I spent hours on the forums trying to figure out my problem.

Months later I decided to change the fluid just for fun. Changed back to Valvoline conventional ATF.... Noise never came back.
