I'm not really sure if I like that or not...some aspects make me drool, then others I could definitely do without. It is definitely cool looking at what the Viper could have possibly looked like.

Yeah...for sheer beauty, it's got nothin' on one of these, IMO:

But it does look exactly like what would happen if Dodge decided to duplicate the above 'Vette and get in on it's market share...

If it had a big Hemi in it then maybe I would buy it but it looks too euorpean to me.

Naw...I definitely liked the 440...for some reason I've always liked the 440 over the 426 Hemi...dunno why...probably the whole 'no replacement for displacement' thing.

426 was a race motor. if i was racing, i would get the 426. if i was driving it on the road alot, i would get the 440.

Well the 440 was more of a tq engine great truck engine, and blue is right, the 426 was a screamer....
My uncle had a jeep that he dropped a 360 in and man that was a great engine couldn't kill it.

Back to the OP. Truth be known, the Dodge Viper was designed in the '60's- by the same folks that had a hand in the current Viper. It just wasn't called a Viper.... or a Dodge.

Caroll Shelby's already been there. Ditto Bob Lutz. Look at the red car.

Final word- everyone knows this is the last year for the Viper, right?

Why are they going to stop making them?
Over priced?
over rated?
break down constantly?
Get smoked by cheaper cars?
